About my melts:
What kind of wax are the melts made out of?
My wax melts are made from a blend of soy and plant based wax. This is a specific blend made for wax melts specifically. All the fragrance oils used are then vegan friendly. Some melts have added glitter, this is biodegradable and made specifically for use in candles. Others have natural botanicals and some are coloured with candle dye.
Are the wax melts handmade?
Yes! The melts are all handmade and hand-poured by me. I come up with the idea for the melts and test out some different fragrances that will work. I then decide which shapes would work best and source new moulds to keep the melts exciting. I also choose the colour, glitter and botanicals.
Melts are also packaged by hand and I print out and design my labels.
This is all done by me and only me.
What do the two collections mean?
I made two collections to make your browsing a little bit easier.
Those labelled "Ink & Lore" are those which are themes after a specific book/world and are great for fans.
"Mood & Margin" are my melts which apply more to tropes and genres. These could represent themes from multiple books.
This is just to help the shopping experience a little and help out those who might be buying gifts.
Are your melts CLP compliant?
Yes! All of my melts are fully CLP compliant. Every product is clearly labelled with all required hazard information in line with current UK CLP regulations.
You may have bought wax melts before and never seen these labels. Unfortunately not all sellers are fully compliant with CLP regulations or may not be aware of their legal obligations. However, I take regulations seriously and ensure every product is fully labelled and compliant.
You will also never find any of my melts designed to imitate or resemble food items, this is prohibited under UK law as those mistaken for foods pose a serious risk particularly to young children. However, please store your melts in a safe space and well away from children and pets.

What is CLP compliance?
CLP stands for Classification, Labelling and Packaging and refers to regulations that ensure hazardous substances are correctly identified and communicated to consumers. For wax melts and other scented products like candles this means they must be clearly labelled with the appropriate hazard symbols, signal words and safety information as they contain fragrance oils.
These warning symbols and hazard pictograms on the back of my melts can feel a little alarming- but please don't worry. These labels are just a legal requirement for all scented products and do not mean your wax melts are dangerous to use in your home. It is just transparency of the ingredients used.
As long as you use your wax melts as intended, in a suitable burner and kept away from children and pets, you can enjoy them completely safely and with confidence!
